Philip Alley begins his message with a brief overview of the previous 2 weeks, when people were asked to answer two questions: What have we as a people learned in 2015? And what should we be taking with us into 2016? Philip then gives his own answer, and it has to do with Community. Philip gives a history of the process that the people of Peace have gone through in learning about Community and in receiving the grace for building Community. Philip outlines the transition process from the original church building in High Street, the events of Family Camp 2002 and the Summit 2002. And then in October 2002 John Alley brought messages about the grace for Community. Philip goes on to speak of the Norman Road building and of the teaching and example of Count Zinzendorf and the Moravians before referring to Colossians 3:12-17 with some specific points highlighted. We are to put on heartfelt compassion towards each other; forgive each other; above all else, put on love; be thankful and do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus.
