Christs Messianic Reign in 4 Psalms

This message by John Alley explores the question as to when Jesus began to rule and reign as Messiah on David's throne. John presents many Scripture verses from the New Testament which all point to the fact that as soon as Jesus was resurrected, he was given all authority and power -- in short, Jesus ruled at the right hand of God from that very time. John then goes on to draw strong parallels between Daniel's revelation (Dan 7:13) and Revelation 5:1-10, both of which indicate that Jesus, once slain, rose again and was found worthy to open the scroll and to reign. John then goes on to quote four Psalms: Ps 2, Ps 22, Ps 72 and Ps 110, which also strongly reveal the rule and reign of Christ.

The Big Invisible Kingdom

The Big Invisible Kingdom
David Alley speaks of the marvelous sign of God’s great love and blessing to all men that the Christmas season is, with all of the music and public display of the nativity. And yet, those who do not believe do not see the truth which is so rich in meaning for all people. David reads for Isaiah, Luke, and Matthew as well as 1 Corinthians which tells us that we are living in the days of the fulfillment of the ages. The Kingdom of God will never end, and yet it is invisible to those who do not look for…

The Cost of the Gospel

The Cost of the Gospel
When the gospel comes to us it challenges us to change, but not everyone is challenged the same way. Living in a society which feels entitled, the gospel of Christ challenges that. Beginning with the story of Doug, a travelling evangelist from the UK, John Alley discusses the rewards and the trials of living for Christ. John Alley shows in scripture a number of examples of people who responded in various ways to the call of the gospel as it affected them. How will you respond to what Christ asks of you?

Every Man Perfect #1

Every Man Perfect #1
When a nation loses its way spiritually, says John Alley, other things slide also. This statement was in response to a recent report that the standards of students’ results in learning have become drastically lower than previously. However, says John, by our prayers the Lord turns all things around to show His glory. John goes on to state that everything goo din this world can be traced back to the gospel – medal breakthroughs, care for the aged and underprivileged and great inventions all had their beginnings in Christianity. However, when an atheistic society gets hold of these good things…

Jesus – Child to Son to Father

This message is part of a three part series by Tony Fitzgerald (www.cotn.org) on the dynamics of Sonship, Fathering and the Kingdom. God will populate the earth through father/son relationships, says Tony. When father/son relationships are broken, so is every other relationship. We are born with purpose and function. Everything that Jesus taught in the gospels was to do with how the Kingdom works. This proves that Jesus placed great importance on the Kingdom -- and so must we.

On Earth Peace #2 – The Kingdom Prophecies

On Earth Peace #2 – The Kingdom Prophecies
Expanding on his Christmas message, John Alley reads from Luke Chapter 2, bringing out four points to consider carefully from the text. Backed up by many supporting Scriptures, John speaks of the importance of the name of Jesus, the infallibility and power of the word of God and the humility of walking in the grace of total surrender to the will and purposes of God in our lives before dwelling on the subject of Bible prophecies. Jesus will reign forever on the throe of David, who was king of Israel. But this Israel, says John, is the spiritual Israel –…

A Gospel for all Cultures

A Gospel for all Cultures
John Alley brings a message today of hope in the Gospel – in the person of Jesus and what He accomplished for all men, for all time. John explains the basic truths – God created man in innocence, but man fell into sin and lost that innocence. Therefore, God sent Jesus, born into the Jewish race but reaching all men and replacing all religions. Although the earthly ministry of Jesus was brief, and He did not travel extensively or conduct large meetings but nevertheless His truth has reached all over the world. Jesus, says John, is the Man for all…
