Frank Corneloup begins this message by referring to the writings of Augustine Hippo (AD 416) relevant to the commandment of Jesus to love one another as He has loved us, and also to the greatest commandment, that we love the Lord our God with all our heart and soul. The former, states Hippo, does not overlook the latter command. Frank goes on to discuss the fact that as Christians we love our doctrines, but too easily overlook the commands to love God and man. But Wesley said, “If this command is neglected, no others can be kept; if observed, all others are easy. This message is rich in insights and will provoke the listener to action – to love God and love others as Christ has loved us! Sunday, 16th October, 2011
