In View of the Cross: The Judgement to Come

John Alley begins his message with an overview of the need for the believer to have the power to win souls. Some people, says John, know all about Christ but lack the faith needed to see souls won for the kingdom. We need to be willing to make sacrifices, and to see the invisible just as Moses did (Hebrews 11:24-27). And of course, we must humble ourselves and seek God, thus overcoming pride and complacency.

John then moves on to the subject of the judgement that is to come. Using many passages of Scripture, John emphasises that we all need to live as ready for this judgement, which will examine everything said and not said, done and not done. John ends his message with a call to the believer to be certain of their salvation.
