In the Bible times we see Elders as being leaders over a church - but of course there was only one church in one city. And so there was only one set of elders.
Today with so many denominations and Christian groups it is possible to end up with dozens and even hundreds of completely different sets of elders in cities - and most of them don't know each other, don't love each other, don't pray together, and many are not even real elders in the Biblical sense.
With a change of the Body of Christ from being institutional (which it is currently) to being relational and apostolic (as in New Testament) we are going to see the restoration of biblical eldership - which is city elderhip.
