John Alley recently visited sons and ministries in Adelaide accompanied by David Hood and Jonathan Maxwell. Our first engagement on Thursday was at House of Prayer in Sterling where we joined in the worship and John shared with the group and then commissioned 3 prayer groups for the purpose of prayer in specific locations. We then shared fellowship and lunch with Jenny and Brian Hagger. Brian was quite chirpy a positive and John prayed with them. In the evening we attended a business leaders gathering in the city where John spoke on Apostolic authority and the testing and maturing of the apostle. Tony and Jane Scammel were our hosts during this time.
On Friday we moved to Ps Don and Heather Drayson’s home at South Adelaide. A series of combined meetings were held Friday night, Saturday morning and evening and Sunday morning. The meetings were attended by members of Southern Life Church, Zion Hill Christian Community and other sons and partners from the southern part of the state. John spoke on dealing with spiritual darkness, the need to be committed to praying for Adelaide to see it free from ancient curses, and the raising of Apostolic Fathers to have governance over the Church. On Sunday afternoon we met with the congregation of Zion Hill Christian Community at Hahndorf. We shared dinner with the leadership team before returning to Adelaide and flying out Monday morning. The visit was rich with relational interaction and valuable teaching and encouragement for the churches and people who attended. We thank God for our dear brothers and sisters, and the wonderful relationships we have everywhere.
