In the second letter to the churches in the book of revelation, we look at the church of Smyrna. The believers in Smyrna lived in a city Christ called "the synagogue of Satan." It was a tough place to live with a high level of persecution. Smyrna came to be known as "the martyr church." Christ called them to be faithful and they would gain a crown of life. Polycarp, the bishop of Smyrna died during the persecution there, and gives us one of the Churches oldest martyr stories. What can we learn from our brothers in Smyrna? Listen and find out.
