Ordinary Men

David Hood begins this message with the passage beginning 1 Corinthians 1:18, from which we learn that God does not choose those who we would expect Him to choose. Instead He has chosen the foolish and weak things of this world in order to shame the wise and the strong.

David then goes on to examine the Scriptures in regard to the lives of “ordinary” men who were mightily used by God. These men, including Moses, Gideon, Samson and Jeremiah, were flawed human beings and yet in the hand of God they were mightily used in bringing about the will of God in the earth.

David concludes his message with a challenge to speak just as Isaiah did – “Here I am: send me”.
