Welcome to Peace Apostolic Ministries

The call to do great things for God, and the authority and anointing to do them, is given to individuals, i.e. to people rather than to institutions. This has always been, and remains, God's way of doing things -- as in the case of Jeremiah the prophet, Moses and the apostle Paul, for example.

However when God's people under anointed leadership rise together in community to do God's will, amazing things takes place. God is not just raising apostles, He is calling the whole church to be apostolic, to love and work together with one heart and mind. What is impossible with man is possible with God.

The people of Peace Christian Church, under the leadership of John Alley, are together called to pursue and live an apostolic life, and to take an apostolic message to the nations of the world. Our God-given mission is: "The Restoration of Apostolic Christianity in the Whole World".

Why Do We Worship

Message by on 10 May 2009
Quoting Philippians 3:3, which speaks of worshipping by the Spirit of god, John Alley then goes on to explore the Biblical reasons why we need to worship God. John gives nine key reasons why engaging in both private and public worship will increase the depth of intimate relationship that we have with God and the flow-on affects that this will bring to our lives every day. This message...

Do Not Fear

Message by on 3 May 2009
In a day when many are very concerned about the effects of potentially fatal viruses, Michael Appleton points out that there is no assurance of protection or healing outside of Christ. Taking examples from the book of Exodus that show clearly that God has always differentiated between His people and those who do not believe, Michael goes on to speak about the mighty psalm of protecti...

The Mental Roladex

Message by on 26 Apr 2009
Many of us will remember the very useful item, the Roladex, which was a fixture on most office desks as an information access device. In this message, John Alley uses the Roladex as an illustration of what happens when the human mind stores unholy images, thoughts and attitudes acquired in the course of living in this fallen world. These images and so on can then be brought back unbidden...

Easter Sunday

Message by on 12 Apr 2009
On this Easter Sunday, David Hood reflects on the deep unity between Father God and Jesus which resulted in Jesus giving His life in order to be the Saviour of the world. Out of this unity, or agreement, flows great power, which in turn enables those who are willing to choose to walk in the ways of Christ and also to walk with other believers in this way. Sunday, 12th April, 2009 ...

Pointing out the perilous position we were in before receiving Christ and the forgiveness of our sins, he goes on to speak of the infi...

The Cross of Jesus 2

Message by on 29 Mar 2009
In this second message of the series, John Alley reinforces the immense power of the cross to change lives and to set people free from the power of sin. Taking 1 Corinthians 1:18 to 2:10 as his main reading, John reveals the foolishness of the pride that mankind takes in his achievements, to the exclusion of God. He then exhorts the listener to take as a motto 1 Corinthians 2:2, which sa...

The Cross of Jesus 1

Message by on 22 Mar 2009
The central theme of Christianity, and possibly one of the least preached about, is the cross of Christ, and the amazing power of the cross. Taking readings from several New Testament books including Acts, Galatians and 1 Corinthians, John Alley emphasizes the fact that we must be born again, not merely renovated in the old human nature. John also explains the aroma of Christ, which is a...

Gethsemane

Message by on 15 Mar 2009
As we approach the celebration of Easter, Michael Appleton explores the meaning and integral role of Gethsemane, as he asks the question, “Do we have a proper appreciation for what Jesus did on the cross?” Exploring the meaning of iniquity, transgressions and sin, Michael goes on to ponder the enormity of Jesus’ taking all of our sin on Himself, and the agony He must have suffe...
