There are passages of Scripture that are frequently read around Christmas – we all know them well. In this message John Alley takes two of these popular texts and teaches from the Word that we each must come to the place in our lives where we know for sure, but the witness of the Holy Spirit, that we have been saved from our sins.

John points out the danger of taking to heart only parts of texts such as Luke 2:14 without properly absorbing the fact that the peace promised is for all men “on whom his favour rests”.
