Between the Last Supper and the garden of Gethsemane, we find in Scripture the prayer that we have come to know as the High Priestly prayer of Jesus. In this prayer, recorded in John chapter 17, Jesus prays first for Himself, then for the disciples, and finally for all believers. In this message, John Alley examines the first part of this prayer, highlighting many facets of the relationship between Jesus and the Father, as well as the lessons that we need to apply to our own lives and prayers. Especially important, says John, is that we pray and seek God that we might know the Father, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent. This message will inspire the listener to seek a deeper and more intimate walk with God. * This broadcast is coming from facilities which are being renovated, and many of our arrangements are temporary.
