John AlleyThe call to do great things for God, and the authority and anointing to do them, is given to individuals, i.e. to people rather than to institutions. This has always been, and remains, God's way of doing things -- as in the case of Jeremiah the prophet, Moses and the apostle Paul, for example. Read More

John Alley begins this message by teaching that if our attitude towards other people
is right and our desire is for them to find Christ and for Christ to have the inheritance for which He died, then the body of Christ has healthy (spiritual) blood. We need to pray and seek God with right attitudes and desires, and it will happen.
John then goes on to discuss the blood of Christ and the cross. The word of the cross, says John, is the power of God. By it we are reconciled to God and justified. John gives a comprehensive list of the mighty things that were accomplished by the shedding of Christ’s blood on the cross.
We need, says John, to become conscious of the need to really know and understand the gospel, so that at any given time we might have something to say to the people that we meet every day.

Beginning with the Scriptures taken from Colossian 1:15 – 23, David Alley takes the listener on a journey explaining the gospel, what it means to be saved, the gift of righteousness, and the futility of our own efforts.
David illustrates from Scripture that when we try to earn God’s approval, our very efforts make it impossible to please Him. Abraham was the fourth most mentioned man in the entire Bible, and yet we do not see recorded many great deeds that are attributed to him. However, we read in James 2:23 that Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.
This clear gospel message is a strong reminder that our own efforts can never “earn” for us the friendship that God longs to freely give. God has much to share with us, and the things that He wants in return is our hearts.

In this message Philip Alley takes the book of Hebrews as proof that Jesus is better than all other things. The writer to the Hebrews goes to great lengths to teach and explain that Christ is supreme. Philip takes the listener through a guided tour in which he shows from Scripture that Christ is better than riches, food, entertainment, or human intelligence – in fact, Christ is better than life itself! Philip concludes the message with an exhortation, echoing the writer to the Hebrews, to fix our thought on Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest.

John Alley, in discussing a publication about “The Holy Land”, raises the question, “Is one piece of land more holy than another?”
He then goes on to point out that anything that God has made is holy. God’s grace, says John, is not found in relics, or in locations, but it is in the fact of what He has done.
Our pilgrimage is not to a physical place, but is of the heart. It is a daily walk with God. Using many Scripture verses, John instructs the listener that historical places are of value for reflection and remembering, but the places are not in themselves holy.
This is a thought-provoking message, and one that will inspire the listener to a deeper walk with God.

Beginning with the well known passage in John 1:1-18, John Alley speaks of the true light of Christ, which shines on the human heart and exposes the darkness therein. Often, John says, we have enough light to be heading in the right direction in so far as believing in Christ and trusting Him as our Saviour, but not enough to bring about total transformation.
The darkness of our hearts may be masked by entertainment and mediocrity, but if we are responsible in our handling of the freedoms we have, and take the time for solitude with Christ, then we can begin to experience all that He intends for us.
This message exhorts the listener to fix their eyes on Jesus, for whatever fills our eyes also fills our hearts.

Hazel Alley uses this quote from Scripture to launch her exciting message, encouraging the listener to die to self and become fully alive to Christ. Using many Bible verses, Hazel unfolds a compelling argument for the need to live as a living sacrifice for Christ, and not to be moulded into the ways of the world.
Time spent in the secret place seeking God, studying His word and listening to His voice, says Hazel, will bring us into the place of intimacy from which we will really see Jesus and serve Him.
This is a compelling message for every believer, regardless of age, background, education or ability: God is able to mightily use the yielded heart.

Beginning with Acts 2:42, David Hood exhorts the listener to follow the example of the early Church in devotion to “the apostles’ teaching, the fellowship and breaking of bread”. He then goes on to speak from Psalms 1 and 119 of the blessedness of obedience to the laws, or statutes, of God, which are given for our protection and direction.
Then, David visits the book of Proverbs and uses many verses to teach the principles of the disciplined life. “We must maintain discipline”, says David, “in order to go forward.”
This message is both encouraging and challenging as we seek to walk with God and to fulfill His plan for our lives.

Between the Last Supper and the garden of Gethsemane, we find in Scripture the prayer that we have come to know as the High Priestly prayer of Jesus. In this prayer, recorded in John chapter 17, Jesus prays first for Himself, then for the disciples, and finally for all believers.
In this message, John Alley examines the first part of this prayer, highlighting many facets of the relationship between Jesus and the Father, as well as the lessons that we need to apply to our own lives and prayers.
Especially important, says John, is that we pray and seek God that we might know the Father, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent. This message will inspire the listener to seek a deeper and more intimate walk with God.
